Desired Candidate Profile
1. Understand the layout and usage of existing Database
2. Design and Implement hourly monitoring for existing Database
3. Fix all issues on Prod/QA & Dev databases
4. (Re)Architect DB tables and structures based on customer feedback
5. Review DB to find long running queries on a daily basis and tune them
6. Review query plans and executions on an ongoing basis
7. Create and produce scheduled reports
8. Create and produce ad-hoc reports
9. Establish and maintain a customer’s BI/ Data Warehouse
The demanded knowledge and skills:
1. In depth SQL Server Database Administration experience.
2. Experience of managing multiple MS SQL 2005 & 2008 RDBMS on large systems
3. Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on Database projects
4. Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service.
5. Experience of Transactional SQL, and DTS stored procedures.
6. Practical experience in managing the internal and external MS SQL database security
